Kermit the Frog talks PBS A Capitol Fourth, what The Muppets having coming out this Fall and drops some major Miss Piggy news on Pop Culture Weekly with Kyle McMahon
Arguably, there is no one more iconic than Kermit the Frog. The singing amphibian Muppet has been a zeitgeist in pop culture since his debut over 60 years ago appearing in over a dozen movies and even more TV series. Now, he co-hosts PBS A Capitol Fourth 2021 along with Vanessa Williams.
I sat down to talk with Kermit the Frog for a wide ranging interview on what he'll be doing for A Capitol Fourth, if he's nervous about performing on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol in Washington DC on the Fourth of July and how a banjo playing frog usually celebrates Independence Day.
I also asked Kermit about what we can expect next from The Muppets and I had to ask him about a juicy rumor I heard about he and Miss Piggy. You won't believe Kermit's answer!
