Pentatonix stars Scott Hoying & Matt Sallee talk A Capitol Fourth, their new album The Lucky Ones, Touring & more on Pop Culture Weekly with Kyle McMahon
Pentatonix has been entertaining us for a decade now. The a capella group won the third season of The Sing Off and never looked back. With nine studio albums, six EP's, three Grammy Awards, an Emmy nomination, seven tours, four TV specials, a documentary and 5 billion + YouTube views later, Pentatonix is a force to be reckoned with.
I sat down with Scott Hoying and Matt Sallee of Pentatonix to discuss their upcoming appearance on PBS A Capitol Fourth 2021 this Independence Day. Hoying, who has been with the group since its inception, says they have such a great time doing the annual special and it serves such a great purpose that they will come back any time they are asked.

Sallee, who joined the group in 2017, agrees and is excited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of RENT for the annual PBS special. Pentatonix will be performing Seasons Of Love with the Los Angeles skyline as their backdrop, giving a West Coast touch to a song that debuted on the East Coast.
