Pop's Tops - Kyle McMahon's Top 20 Music Chart sees The Weeknd & Madonna Make Huge Debut; Kylie Minogue Hits #2; Mike Posner Rises to #3 & more! Check out the full chart of the Top 20 songs.
In this week's Pop's Tops Kyle McMahon's Top 20, The Weeknd, Madonna and Playboi Carti make a huge debut on the chart, entering directly at #1 with their new single Popular. The song, a slinky, 90's inspired pop - dance - R&B hybrid, is the second single from the soundtrack of The Weeknd's HBO series The Idol. The track is an absolute banger and is sure to continue gaining momentum across radio, streaming and digital. On working with the legendary icon, The Weeknd, who recently stated he wants to produce an entire album with Madonna, told People, "She's the ultimate co-sign for this song, for this album, and for this TV show. And you'll hear more of her in the show as well too. She is the ultimate pop star."
Kylie Minogue storms this week's chart with her dance floor smash Padum Padum. The lead single from her upcoming sixteenth studio album Tension, Padum Padum is taking over dance floors, airwaves and social media and is shaping up to be Kylie's biggest United States hit since Can't Get You Out Of My Head hit #7 on Billboard Hot 100 in 2001. On this weeks Pop's Tops, the infectious ear worm debuts at #2.
Mike Posner X The Human Experience move up to #3 with This Is What A Sad Song Sounds Like. The track is a re-worked version of his 2022 single I'm Not Dead Yet which was criminally overlooked. Seriously, if I were President, the first thing I'd have Congress investigate is why TF I'm Not Dead Yet wasn't a huge hit in every country around the world.
