1. Cyndi Lauper’s music video for “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” has officially crossed 1 billion views on YouTube — marking the singer’s first entry onto the video platform’s billion-views club. Lauper’s recording of “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” was released in 1983 on her historic debut album, She’s So Unusual, becoming a breakthrough hit and feminist anthem.

2. A federal jury sided with Cardi B yesterday in her case against YouTuber Tasha K. The verdict awarded Cardi B $1.25 million in damages, but that amount could go up as proceedings are starting today to decide any punitive damages.

3. Delaware has been ranked as the 4th best state in the United States to retire to! In a study by Wallethub, our great first state sits right behind Florida, Virginia, & Colorado being the 6th most affordable state, 35th in quality of life, and 15th in health care!
