McDonald's Same Store Sales Up 7.1 Percent In January

1. McDonald’s just announced that starting Monday, and for a limited time, they are adding certain viral hacks to the menu so people can order them “by name” This allows customers to get “all the menu items they need in one bag to build each tasty creation on their own” Items include the Hash Brown McMuffin, the Crunchy Double, Surf + Turf and more. 

Hash Brown McMuffin – Only available at breakfast, this adds a Hash Brown to the Sausage McMuffin with Egg.

Crunchy Double - Chicken McNuggets topped with a Double Cheeseburger, with a recommended Tangy BBQ sauce drizzle “for maximum flavor.”

Land, Air & Sea – Combines a Big Mac with a McChicken and a Filet-O-Fish.(select restaurants will feature the Hot ‘n Spicy McChicken sandwich.)

Surf + Turf – (available through the app and delivery) it combines a Double Cheeseburger and Filet-O-Fish.

2. Kevin Spacey wants the $31 million arbitration award tossed out that came from his alleged conduct on the set of “House of Cards.” The way Spacey’s team sees it, the actions that caused him to be fired from “House of Cards” didn’t actually happen while he was filming the show. In fact, his team claims he shouldn’t have been considered in the proceedings at all. So far, Kevin’s reps haven’t commented on the case.

3. Original Late Night host David Letterman will be dropping by as a guest February 1st to celebrate the show's 40th anniversary. Letterman launched the NBC after-hours franchise in 1982, before eventually moving over to the Late Show on CBS. Current Late Night host Seth Meyers announced the Letterman news in a video this week. "The 40th anniversary is next Tuesday," he said, "and to celebrate, my guest that evening will be the man who started it all, David Letterman."
