1. Elton John had to make an emergency landing after his private jet suffered "hydraulic failure" at an altitude of ten-thousand feet. The 74-year-old “Rocketman” was en route from England to New York yesterday when the plane made a U-turn over the Atlantic Ocean and headed back to the UK. According to reports, John's jet was buffeted by 80-mile-an-hour winds on the way back, making landing difficult. The jet was finally able to land on its third attempt. Elton John was reportedly shaken by the ordeal, but caught a later flight to New York.

2. Natalie Portman's "Mighty Thor" Action figure has been released. The new movie "Thor: Love and Thunder" is the fourth film in the Thor franchise. Natalie Portman's character Jane Foster is the first female Thor introduced in history.

3. The lineup for the 2022 Firefly Festival is out, with Halsey, My Chemical Romance, Green Day and Dua Lipa booked to headline. 

The festival, taking place September 22nd to 25th at the Woodlands in Dover, Delaware, will also feature sets by Weezer, The Kid LAROI, Big Sean, Zedd, Gunna, Porter Robinson, Avril Lavigne, Bleachers, The Head and The Heart, Yungblud, Wolf Alice and more.
