Forbes Releases their List of The World's Richest People

1. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is now the world's richest person – he tops Forbes' latest billionaires list replacing Amazon founder Jeff Bezos as the new number one. Bezos topps the list for the previous four years. In the entertainment world, Rihanna and “Lord of the Rings” director Peter Jackson have made the cut for the first time. Overall, there are two-thousand, 668 billionaires and the total value of their combined assets is $12.7-trillion.

2. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker reportedly got married. They allegedly tied the knot after Grammy weekend in Las Vegas. Sources are now saying that the marriage isn’t legal. The issue is whether or not they actually had a marriage license. They also didn’t sign a prenup. Now they’re allegedly looking to sign a postnup to protect their assets.

3. A new LendingTree Survey finds pet spending has increased 50% from 2013 to 2020, from $460 a year to $690. Single women are more likely to spend more on their pets than single men ($504 vs. $381). Cincinnati, Ohio is he most pet-obsessed city, with 1.93 pet stores per 1,000 businesses. Birmingham, Alabama is the least pet-obsessed metro area, with only 0.77 pet stores per 1,000 businesses. What about Local? Philadelphia leads the way at 6th overall with 1.76 Pet Stores per 1,000 businesses and Baltimore, Maryland comes in at number 26th with 1.39 pet stores per 1,000 businesses
