Netflix May Launch Ad-Supported Tier By The End Of The Year!

Netflix is embracing advertising and may roll out a cheaper, ad-supported tier by the end of 2022. This new timeline is way ahead of schedule faster than the 1 to 2 year forecast than the company announced last month. According to a memo that was sent out to employees the note mentioned how quick the timeline is moving saying,

“Yes, it’s fast and ambitious and will require some trade-offs.”

The New York Times reported this which attributed the information to two unidentified insiders. A company rep did not offer further comment.
