With the seasons changing, so does hair color trends (for some). And this year, according to Kristen Fleming, this years shades are inspired by all things falls. Kristen says, quote, “Think rich, earthy tones such as amber, burnt orange, butterscotch, pumpkin orange and soft golden hues, like the ones you’d see as the leaves change.”
But what is pumpkin spice hair color, exactly? Celebrity colorist Rita Hazan explains that the trend includes all warm, spicy tones of red and copper and can include a range of light to dark shades. And because it includes so many warm shades, it can easily be tweaked to look good on pretty much everyone.
