Meghan Trainor hit social media yesterday to issue an apology for some recent comments she made on a podcast.
She was on the "Workin On It" podcast and had the following to say about school shootings. ‘This is what it’s like having kids in America. I have a bulletproof backpack.’ I was like, ‘F*** all that … f*** teachers, dude,’”
She then issued the below statement that she did not mean but she said.
