No charges filed against New Jersey pasta dumper

The man who dumped more than 500 pounds of pasta alongside a creek in Old Bridge won't be charged with any crime. The township business administrator told NJ.COM police have ended their investigation. The case is now officially closed. The pasta was dumped their by a man who was cleaning out his mother's home after she passed away. She had accumulated the pasta in her home over time. It was dry when he dumped it but it got wet from rain and moisture in the air. So when it was discovered it looked like it had been cooked. The name of the man who dumped the pasta has not been released. All officials would say was that he was a military veteran.
