Gen-Z May Be Responsible For Bringing Back The Landline!

The ’90s called, they want their phones back.

Gen Z is known for reinventing the past and for being infatuated with technology from the early 2000s.

They have been known to purchase out "vintage" iPods from 2007 and replace their iPhones with flip phones, digital cameras, and iPod Minis as hair clips.

The landline is their next target.

In an era where landlines are nearly nonexistent and technology is advancing daily, Gen Z's obsession with seemingly outdated technologies may lead to a comeback of the infamous household gem!

Looking back at the late ’90s and early 2000s TV shows and rom-coms, you can most likely picture your favorite character lying on their bed with a colorful landline phone.

While Gen Z'rs definitely don’t need a landline — still relying on their cellphones for virtually everything — it’s the aesthetic of “2000s nostalgia” that makes the relic so attractive to them.

Are you ready to bring back the landline?
