DDG: Man Wins Lottery Twice In 2 Years, Wants To Use It To Help Others

Wilmington, North Carolina, resident John Robbins has had an unbelievable stroke of luck winning the lottery twice in the last couple of years. He first won $2-million in May 2022 and recently won another $100-thousand with both tickets bought from the same store. Now he wants to pay his good fortune forward and help support his community.

Robbins recently picked up his prize from his latest win, taking home over $70-thousand after taxes. He tells lotto officials that wants to use the money to benefit his community by supporting those in need. “My dream is to make a difference in Wilmington,” he explains. “I want to give back to people here who are less fortunate. I want to do something to help change that."
