The Central Vermont Humane Society in East Montpelier, Vermont, recently rescued an inseparable trio, two dogs named River and Rain and a cat named Reed, found wandering the streets in Williamstown together. The animals were like a real-life version of the movie “Homeward Bound” and showed signs of long term neglect, but started to recover with care, especially once they were reunited in the shelter. The trio’s bond captured hearts online, prompting a couple to begin a foster-to-adopt trial for all three. The shelter is optimistic this loving home will become their permanent one.
