On March 25th in Cincinnati, Ohio, security footage captured the moment a good Samaritan stopped to help an elderly woman who had fallen on the sidewalk. After spotting 80-year-old Tina Kaminski on the ground by the side of the road, the man stopped his car, got out and immediately offered her the shirt off his back to help her clean up her bloody face. Les Castro, who owns the security footage, and his wife Amy Clair Boucher-Castro witnessed the moment and shared it with local news.
“The woman had fallen and was covered in blood,” says Boucher-Castro, who was home at the time and also rushed out to help Kaminski. She describes how the young man didn’t hesitate before giving her his shirt, calling the gesture “incredible.” The video of the caring moment has gone viral for the man’s remarkable display of kindness.
Kaminski suffered a cracked rib from the fall but is expected to recover. Both she and Boucher-Castro hope to be able to track down the good Samaritan to thank him. "If his mom finds or hears about this story,” Boucher-Caster says, “I'd really like for her to know that she raised an exceptional son who really stepped up and aided someone when they were in need."
