DDG: Camila Cabello Makes Surprise Appearance At Stranger’s Wedding

Last Friday, pop-star Camila Cabello met bride-to-be Kelli Murray and her family at a hotel bar in Iowa, where Murray mentioned she planned to use Cabello’s song “First Man” for her father-daughter dance. The “Señorita” singer then surprised the family by offering to perform the song live at the wedding the following day. Videos shared online show her arriving at the celebration in a black dress and telling guests how the performance came about.

During her remarks, Cabello explained that “First Man” is a personal song about her own father, that she felt “really honored” to be part of the occasion, and that she could see how much Murray’s father, Mike, loves his daughter. She ended her short speech by raising a cheer “to daddy’s girls” before starting her performance.

In another video, Cabello sang as Murray and her father danced together, even including the bride’s name in the lyrics. Mike was seen wiping away tears during the emotional moment. Murray’s cousin described the singer as “a kind human” who “helped make pure magic,” while fans online praised the gesture. Cabello later commented that she was honored to be part of the family’s special day.
